FAQs

Question

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

We kindly ask that men wear a tuxedo or formal dark suit, and women wear a floor-length evening gown. We want everyone to feel glamorous and look their best as we celebrate!

Question

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 3:00 to park, make your way into the church, and be seated in time for the start of the ceremony.

Question

Where should guests park for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, guests are welcome to park in the church's surface lot or parking garage, both at the south entrance of the church off of Oak Lawn. Greeters will be present to point you in the direction of the ceremony. For the reception, parking at The Carlisle Room will be complimentary.

Question

Can guests bring a plus one or children?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation when you RSVP attend. If you’ve been given a plus one, it will be indicated when you go to RSVP. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Can guests take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're honored to have our families and friends together with us as we become husband and wife. As our wedding will be, first and foremost, a worship service, we ask that you keep phones and other devices silenced and put away. Our photographers will provide plenty of photos that will help us remember what will be a beautiful day!

Question

Is transportation provided between venues?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, as Park Cities Presbyterian and The Carlisle Room are a 20-minute drive apart from each other.
