How are couples supposed to meet again? At a party? In college? Through friends? Not these days! Cameron and Sarah met online. In January of 2012, the message notification popped up in Cameron's inbox, where he found an invite from Sarah to a local concert in Tustin. Sarah pointed out that she had just moved back to Orange County from Philadelphia, and that Cameron was still new to the area and looking to discover the local music scene. A few messages traded back and forth. Sarah came off as cute, well-read, thoughtful, a music lover, and just the right amount of weird. They decided to meet up for a romantic dinner at Five Guys (a greasy burger joint), followed by an evening of local music. After a single date of heavy foods, live music, and fun conversation, Cameron was already head over heels. Sarah wasn't. The two remained friends, occasionally getting together for concerts and the OC Music Awards, catching up with each other while each carried on with the other aspects of their lives. Eventually, they circled back to spending more time together. They went out to eat, see movies, and of course catch more concerts, though they never really called these "dates," Cameron and Sarah were just hanging out. As they learned more about each other, Cameron discovered the shocking fact that Sarah had never seen the television show Freaks and Geeks. Around mid-October, they decided to watch through it together from the beginning. On the evening of November 10, crossing into the morning of November 11, Cameron and Sarah were up late watching the show until they couldn't stay awake any longer. They woke up that morning, Sarah's head on Cameron's shoulder and his head leaned on hers, both of them holding hands.
