We're getting married!

In late November of our first year of college, he asked me to go stargazing with him. During that first date, we both saw a shooting star, and he jokingly let me wish on it instead of him. Then, for our first Christmas together, I gifted him a small meteorite, joking that now I could give the shooting star back and return the favor. Even though we'd only been together for about a month, he kept the little space rock, and for the next 7 years he cut it, polished it, and set it in gold to give back again as an engagement ring.
