Morgan and Cam met through mutual friends, Jessica and Levi, on their wedding weekend! Jessica and Levi brought Morgan and Cam together the day they both flew into Dothan, Alabama at a local restaurant and arcade. From there, they spent a few nights staying up until 4am talking about anything and everything. They enjoyed each others company so much, they decided to spend a little more time together after the wedding weekend ended. Morgan cancelled her flight back to Idaho, she rented a car and drove from Dothan, Alabama to Kentucky to spend the weekend with Cam. Too soon, the weekend came to an end. Both Cam and Morgan were saddened by the thought of not seeing each other again since they lived on opposite sides of the country. Morgans career gives her flexibility to work all over the country so they both agreed she could take a job closer to Cam. Morgan flew back to Idaho, packed up her belongings and drove across the country to Kentucky. The rest is history.

Cam and Morgan went on a week long road trip across Canada in July of 2023. They spent time doing some of their favorite things like camping, sightseeing and hiking. On 7.9.23 they were hiking to the lookout over Moraine Lake (one of Canada's famous lakes) when Cam stated he wanted "one more picture". Cam gave the phone to a stranger and secretly told her to take a video. He got down on one knee and asked Morgan to marry him. She said YES, of course!
