Question

What is the venue like and why did we choose it?

Answer

Windsor Mountain Summer Camp is a lakeside venue that is located in Windsor, New Hampshire. This property boasts the best of both worlds as it features indoor and outdoor spaces for events, games, and relaxing with guests / loved ones. With panoramic views, natural surroundings, and rustic yet charming amenities, there is much to admire here. When we toured the grounds, we fell in love because it reminds us of our "happy place", and we want to share that feeling with all of our guests. We also chose Camp Windsor because we wanted the most quality time with our guests as possible in the most comfortable setting we could find. Everyone can be as casual or formal as they wish. We want it to feel like a weekend away in the woods where everyone has the space they need to enjoy each other's company or step away for a small hike on the grounds or relax by the water. There is enough lodging for all guests to stay on-site if they wish! With all this being said, "rustic camp vibes" may not be for everyone - and we get that! Guests should feel free to stay off site if they feel more comfortable, and we are open to guests reaching out to us with questions or concerns when making the decision. We and the staff will try to accommodate everyone's needs for the weekend.

Question

When is the earliest guests can arrive, and when do they need to leave?

Answer

Guests can arrive on Friday 3PM or later. We ask that guests depart by 12:00pm on Sunday so that our staff can clean.

Question

What can I expect for on-site lodging and what is the cost?

Answer

Our accommodations include cabins, bungalows, and dorm style lodging. There is electricity in every housing accommodation. However, these are RUSTIC cabins, and some do not have private showers / bathrooms. The communal showers / bathrooms are close by and we will do our absolute best to assign housing based on the needs of our families and friends. We've subsidized the cost to stay on site, so it will be $95 per person, per night. Included in this cost are all your meals, bedding linens, towels, lodging, and all amenities Camp Windsor has to offer! We will be communicating with all of our guests regarding their housing groups once we have a final head count, and photos of the cabins will be added to the website soon so you can review whether you want to stay on site or not. Camp Windsor is also releasing a virtual tour soon, which will allow everyone to see the grounds before making the decision. We plan to make it as comfortable as possible for everyone and if there are any questions, feel free to reach out to us!

Question

What if I don't want to stay at camp?

Answer

There are additional lodging options in our accommodations section that include Bed&Breakfast locations, Airbnbs, and hotels in the surrounding area. These options are all approximately 15-30 minutes from camp. The few closest options to camp (Bed&Breakfasts and Airbnb) tend to book up quickly, so if you prefer these options, we recommend booking ASAP.
