We'd love to know if you can make it by 1 December 2025. Any questions, do get in touch with either of us.
The best way will be via the 'Cam and Caro Express' coaches leaving from outside Milngavie (pronounced 'Mill-guy') train station between 1pm and 2pm on the day. If you're able to, we'd so appreciate you getting there well before 2pm to 'regulate the service'. We expect coaches to be arriving every 10-15 minutes but there is also a lovely local micro brewery conveniently located at the station (The Jaw Brew) so you'd be welcome to enjoy a cheeky half pint in while you wait. There are frequent trains to and from Milngavie out of Glasgow Queen Street station, and you can get taxis/ubers easily around the area. There will also be a smaller mini bus on-hand at the farm to take anyone who wants to leave early back to the station, check out 'The Cam & Car Express' section of the website to find times and locations. There are only a small number of parks at the farm itself, so let us know if you need to drive!
There'll be kilts alongside jumpsuits alongside birkenstocks, so really anything goes. One thing is certain, it won't be a traditional affair so why not go wild, eh? Or if you're happiest in jeans and a t-shirt, we're happy too. There'll be no need for formal suits or ties if that isn't your style. But that should by no means discourage you if you like to dress up. It might pay to go lower on the heels, or have a change of flats, for the grass. And let's face it — it's Glasgow — an extra layer or two never hurt!
Please do. If you let us know when you RSVP, we'll ensure it's catered for and have plenty food options on the day(s).
Absolutely, looking forward to having guests of all ages along. We'll be providing some kids entertainment and changing facilities to keep them happy. The farm is far from busy roads with some cows and sheep grazing in the paddock next door for petting purposes. Our shuttle bus will be at the venue and ready to pick up/drop off anyone to Milngavie station throughout if you need to duck off to put kids/yourself to bed etc.
Why, yes! As tradition dictates, and as it's the bank holiday weekend, we have a (slightly more sedate) afternoon planned for the following day, Sunday 24 May. Do check out the details in our schedule tab and come along.
The good news: Glasgow is lovely and compact, so you're never far from anywhere really. In terms of areas, go for one of these if... You're not in town long: - Central: Easy commutes out to Milngavie (the pick-up spot), Glasgow airport or Edinburgh train station/airport. - Milngavie: Closest to our coach pick up/drop off, so an easy crawl/uber home at the end of the night. It's also the start of the West Highland Way for anyone keen to embark on two weeks of hiking post-celebrations. You plan on spending a few days: - The West End (Partick/Finnieston/Hillhead/Hyndland) is the top spot for sightseeing, food and night life — our end-of-night coach will also be stopping in the centre of the West End on Byres Road. - The Southside (Queens Park/Shawlands) comes with beautiful parks, brunch and millennials pushing strollers. Only flag — it will require at least one additional connection on the train to get out to the venue, and likely an uber home from central at the end of the night.
There are limited parks at the venue so do let us know ahead of time if you will need one for the night. If you can, we'd love you to use the shuttles to and from Milngavie station (it's one heck of a dirt road leading up to the farm for a rental car). On day two, things will be a lot less structured and more parking spaces will be freed up — so you're welcome to drive on the return journey!
