FAQs

Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 1st. You can RSVP by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

While we will miss celebrating with you, we understand if you are unable to attend. Please RSVP “Not Attending” if applicable. If you have already RSVP’d “Attending” and your plans change, kindly notify Camalin at (269) 277-2099 or Matthew at (574) 850-7088 at your earliest convenience.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm. Please arrive between 15-30 minutes prior to park and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony start time, you will be asked to wait until the ceremony is finished to then join for the reception.

Question

Should I expect extra traffic on wedding day?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding falls on Notre Dame’s Blue-Gold Game with a 2:00 PM kickoff. Traffic will likely be heavier than usual throughout the afternoon and evening. Please plan extra travel time when heading to the venues.

Question

Will I be able to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

To help us keep the ceremony prayerful and distraction free, we kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away. Our photographer will take care of capturing the moment, so please relax and be present with us.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Guests may park in the municipal lot west of the church at St. Monica Municipal Parking, 208 W Mishawaka Ave, Mishawaka, IN 46545. There is also a small lot behind the church for handicap accessibility and easier access, along with limited street parking in the surrounding area. For the reception at Corby’s Irish Pub, parking is street parking only. Please plan accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be semi-formal and held in a Catholic church, so we kindly ask guests to dress with modesty in mind. For women, this could include dresses or skirts with a modest neckline and length (think knee length or longer), or dressy jumpsuits with coverage. For men, a button-down shirt with slacks, and optionally a tie or blazer, is perfect. The reception will be held at Corby’s, an Irish sports bar with a more relaxed atmosphere. Guests are welcome to change into more casual attire if they’d like. For women, this could be a casual dress, skirt, or nice top and jeans. For men, polos, button-downs, or nice t-shirts with jeans are all great options. The wedding party will be wearing dusty blue, so guests may wish to keep this in mind when selecting attire.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited. Invitations have been addressed to include all invited family members and approved plus ones. If a plus one has been included, it will be clearly noted on your invitation.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we are only able to include children who are specifically named on the invitation.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We’ll have an open bar with beer and wine for you to enjoy! If you’re in the mood for mixed drinks, those will be available for purchase at the downstairs bar. Please celebrate responsibly!

Question

How will I get home?

Answer

If you are able to, then driving is the best way to get around the area. We understand with drinking, not everyone will be available to drive home. We recommend either ordering and Uber or Lyft to bring you to and from the reception if you plan on drinking. As mentioned before, there are no overnight parking accommodations at the venue.

Question

What time is the reception?

Answer

Our reception upstairs will be from 3:30–8:00 PM. After that, if you’d like to keep the party going, you’re more than welcome to head downstairs and enjoy the main bar and Corby’s atmosphere!
