Dressy casual attire: We want you to be comfortable and look your best at our wedding! The dress code is dressy casual attire. For this time of year in Tennessee, may we suggest the following attire: Folks who'd like to wear a dress can wear mid to floor length dresses or skirts and a nice top (nice jumpsuits or pants are also acceptable for those who prefer not to wear a dress) and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn. Alternatively, guests can wear a light dress shirt with khakis or other lightweight slacks and since we know July in Tennessee will be hot nice khaki shorts are also permitted (NOT cargo shorts) ; jackets and ties are optional. The only color we ask that you do NOT wear is white as that is traditionally reserved for the bride!
The Venue does not allow outside alcohol but we will be having an open bar so after the ceremony get ready to take a drink and dance the night away!
For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking and we will have signs directing you where to park!
Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the ceremony site by the waterfall, and cocktail hour will be in a tent outdoors (with a fan, don't worry!) while the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the ceremony site on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.
