None of this would've been possible without Kevin unintentionally introducing us! We met at his house over the summer and within a few weeks noticed the potential. For our first date we got boba and talked for hours, we decided we would take things slow. 2 weeks later we were officially dating and the rest is history!

Five months after Mel left for the Marines, we found out we were five months pregnant... surprise! It was easily the wildest, most hectic time of our lives, but we had no idea just how much joy our little light-bringer would bring.

A few months after Luca was born, we settled into a cozy little townhouse in northern Virginia. It quickly became the heart of so many "firsts". Luca took his first wobbly steps (straight into a mirror), we celebrated our first holidays as a family, and we stumbled through parenthood one diaper blowout at a time. We made the sweetest memories in that house, explored every corner of Virginia we could, and just like that, a new chapter was calling.

We bought our first house in January of 2024 in North Carolina. Although it felt like life was moving lightning fast, everything aligned perfectly for us to make this giant step. It is simply the perfect place for us to continue this life that we've started together. We can't imagine Luca growing up anywhere else. At least for the next 3 years! And who knows, maybe our family will continue to grow in this home!
