Where do I park?

Answer

Parking will be at the Dollar Tree parking lot in Des Moines (down the street from the wedding location). A shuttle will run every 15 minutes starting at 2pm. Last shuttle will depart at 2:45pm. It is highly recommended to use a ride share service, such as Uber or Lyft, due to limited parking.

What do I wear?

Answer

Desired guest attire is formal/semi-formal, either in Western or Fantasy/Medieval style. Preferred color scheme is fall: soft neutrals, deep/rich oranges, reds, purples, and greens. Avoid bright colors and large patterns. We would love for you to have fun with dressing up!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No. Only the invitees listed in the RSVP section are allowed to attend, unless explicitly discussed with the bride/groom.

Can I bring my child?

Answer

No. We have decided our celebration is for adults only. We even have exit plans for our favorite flower girl and ring bearers after the ceremony.

What should I bring?

Answer

Dinner is a potluck. Please bring a side dish or appetizer of your choice to share. We will be preparing brisket, BBQ chicken, Caesar salad, and many desserts. We appreciate your support for our celebration!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes. We were graciously offered our family friends home for our venue, and we expect everyone to be respectful and safe with the alcohol consumption.

What is the venue like?

Answer

Our venue is a lovely backyard over looking the sound. Come prepared for rain, sun shine, or both! We love the PNW! Wear comfortable shoes, the ceremony will be on the grass and we will be dancing all evening!
