We decided to take a trip to Whistler to celebrate our birthdays. We went to dinner at the White Goose Bistro, which does a champagne sabering. Under the pretense of it being my "champagne birthday," Calvin suggested sabering a bottle. Afterwards, the restaurant gives you a box with the top of the bottle in it. Little did I know, the box actually had the ring in it. The sommelier handed the box to Calvin and before I knew it he was down on one knee. The easiest yes I've ever given.
