What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please aim to get to Chilston Park Hotel betweeen 12 and 12.30.

Question

Will we need to pay for drinks?

Answer

There is lots of alcohol provided however it isn’t an open bar, so please bare that in mind!

Question

Will we need to bring cash?

Answer

If you’d like to use cash in the bar then yes! We will also be doing a traditional money dance later into the evening, in which everyone can shower us in dollars so please bring cash along with you so you can exchange for dollars if you’d like to get involved! Don’t hesitate to message us if you’re unsure.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail dress attire please. It’s not often we get to dress up so take the opportunity to wear a gorgeous dress or a suit! However, please don’t wear a black suit and ladies no black or blue! Thank you! Since the wedding is entirely indoors you shouldn’t need a coat, but of course bring one if you intend to go outside, the grounds are lovely!

Should we bring a gift?

Your presence is a gift to us already! If you do still want to give us anything, money to help contribute to the honeymoon would be very much appreciated!

Will we need to pay for any food?

Answer

No, you shouldn’t need to pay for food! We have canapés, 3 course meal, evening buffet and lots and lots of cake, of course! If you’re staying in the hotel with us you also won’t need to pay for breakfast in the morning.

Does the hotel have parking?

Answer

Yes there’s a car park on site, the hotel is ours for the day/night so all cars are safe!

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is at the venue in the culpeppers restaurant room, starts at 1pm and will most likely only last half an hour!

Is there anywhere else to stay nearby if I don’t want to stay at the hotel?

Answer

Yes! There is a bed and breakfast a few minutes drive from the hotel called ‘The Wishful Thinker’

Can I bring a plus one ?

Answer

Please don’t bring anyone unless we have agreed or invited them!

What time does the wedding end?

Answer

The party ends at 1am but we’ll see most of you for breakfast the next morning!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Please don’t take photos during the ceremony! We don’t want any distractions or any phones in the professional photos. Other than the ceremony we’re more than happy for you to take photos, we’d love to see them once the day is over to look back on!
