How we met was through God's divine plan! It all started with a broken iPhone... Kayla and Calvin first met in 2018 when she needed to replace her iPhone. So, she and her mom, Tammy, went to the Verizon store to do just that and, Calvin---after seeing Kayla---thought to himself that he was going to help her! After leaving the store, Calvin reached out to Kayla via *ahem ahem* DM on Instagram, telling her that he thought she was beautiful and asked if he could get to know her better. She responded with a graceful message, stating that it would not be a good time but thanking him for reaching out. The graceful response left a lasting impression on Calvin! Three years later... In March 2021, Kayla decided to become more invested in her music so she began doing lots of research. On Instagram, she came across a podcast called, "Church Music Talks" and decided to follow. Calvin saw that he gained a follower and decided to try again. From the second-time-around-conversation, the rest was history! As time went on, God gave Calvin and Kayla peace that "this" was the ONE that each had been praying for...💕
