31DEC: 3:30 pm- Wedding guests meet up at Scofflaws for welcome event-Optional (1421 Sixth Ave, Unit 300, Columbus, GA, 31901) 01JAN: 2:50 pm- Guests find seats 3 pm- Ceremony begins 3:45 pm- Pictures after the ceremony Approx 4:30- Transport to Agave for reception (feel free to stop by hotels/air B&Bs if needed) 5 pm- Reception begins 9:30-9:45 pm- Goodbyes & goodnights. (restaurant closes at 10 pm)
Guests will need to bring a valid & non-expired form of ID to the Fort Benning Visitors Center. (I-185 Lindsey Creek Parkway, Fort Benning, GA 31909). You will let the clerk know you need access to base to attend a wedding at the Infantry Chapel. You will receive a paper pass valid for 7 days. The Fort Benning access gates are next to the Visitor Center. Make a left out of the parking lot and present the gate guard with your ID and paper pass. Once you are through the gate you will not need to present your pass again unless you visit the commissary or the PX. Please be advised, the Military Police tend to be strict about speeding and rules of the road. If you are stopped by a Military Police it is treated just as any other normal traffic stop.
The dress code for the ceremony is "Sunday Best". Guests are welcome to change into whatever they like for the reception.
