Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we do love everyone's kids, we are kindly requesting for this to be an adults only event, and the only children attending are those in the wedding party. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to accommodate leaving them at home so you can celebrate with us!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The venue is about 10 minutes from the local hotels listed if staying near by. A shuttle service will be provided for a limited amount of people staying at the Hilton Christiana for a limited amount of trips and can’t guarantee the shuttle for all guests due to limits. We recommend driving to the venue, utilizing ride share apps and car pooling if able. Shuttle times: 4:15 pm and 4:30 pm to The Farmhouse. At 10 pm, the shuttle will begin transportation back to the hotel if interested.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at the venue for free.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! If you have food allergy or special food need please let us know on the RSVP so we can allow the venue to know. The venue can accommodate any allergies regardless of your meal choice. The crab cakes and the chicken roulade are both gluten free.

What is dress code?

Answer

Dress code is cocktail attire. The ceremony is taking place outdoors, weather permitted, and the reception will be indoors but outdoors accessible all night. Ladies, if you wear heels, please bring a change of shoes to change into so you can meet us on the dance floor!

What time should you arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony starting to assure you’re parked, and seated. The ceremony will be begin at 5:00 pm and if arriving at that time or during the ceremony, you’ll be asked to wait until the ceremony is over to join the festivities.

Can I take photos?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony. Please scan the QR found around the venue the night of the wedding and take a card with you for after to upload pictures and videos for all guests to see and share with one another. Also make sure to leave us a video and/or note for the guestbook with words of advice and love for us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, this will appear on the formal invitation. We’d like to keep this day intimate and have our closest loved ones share this special day.

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than the date on the RSVP card in the invitation, May 2, 2025 along with menu choice for each guest. If you unable to attend, we understand and you will be missed, but please let us know as well so your invite is counted for. We hope you all can attend, and celebrate with us!
