YES! Your passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry into the Dominican Republic. If your passport expires within 6 months of the travel date, you will not be allowed in the country.
Flight schedules normally release about a year before the travel date. Please do not book your flight last minute, as prices tend to increase over time.
