Yes, we met at band camp. No, it's not like in the movies. I mean, were any of those movie producers even IN band? Thanks to USF's marching band being a close community of about 300 college students, and Facebook, Adam and I knew of each other for a year or so before we truly met. Then one cool, clear September evening during my junior year of band... the stars aligned... I locked eyes with him… and my prince galloped towards me on a white horse... [record screech]. Just kidding, I think it went a little something like this. At a saxophone section dinner at a Ruby Tuesdays in the lobby of a one-star hotel, my section leader received a text from Adam. In his text, he said he wanted to know more about the "cute blonde girl" who played saxophone. I, in turn, wanted to know more about the "cute tuba player" who happened to not wear a shirt most days at practice... Little did I know, it was the start of forever. Over the course of band camp, weekday practices, football games, home-cooked dinners at our apartments, and outings with friends, Adam and I realized this was meant to be more. A few weeks later, before heading into Side Splitter's Comedy Club (I scored free tickets, and we all know I can't pass up a good deal), Adam asked me to be his girlfriend. Fast forward eight years, and here we are, the future Mr. and Mrs. Kral.
