Please RSVP by October 3rd to help us obtain an accurate headcount for meal and seating arrangements. Once our formal wedding invitation is sent, you will be able to submit your RSVP either here on Zola or by returning the RSVP card sent with your invitation.

A room block has been placed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charlottesville with a discounted rate for our guests. Navigate to the "Travel" tab of our website to book by October 3rd. In the event that our room block becomes full, Airbnb and Vrbo options in the area are great for group stays if you're traveling with a crew!

Cocktail Attire: Gentlemen, please wear a jacket, ties are optional. Ladies, a cocktail dress, dressy skirt and top, or an elegant jumpsuit would be lovely. Our ceremony will take place on the lawn – please bear this in mind when choosing footwear. Our venue is mostly outdoors and may be breezy this time of year. A light jacket or wrap is recommended.

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place completely outdoors, then we'll move underneath a sailcloth tent for dinner and dancing. In the event of inclement weather, all events will be hosted underneath the tent. Early November in Charlottesville tends to be crisp but pleasant, with temps in the low 60s. (Shout-out to weather enthusiast, Dylan).

Please indicate if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions when it comes time to formally RSVP and make your meal selection so our caterer may accommodate you.

Answer

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to Eastwood. For guests who plan to drive, the venue is a 10 to 15 minute drive from most hotels in Charlottesville, and free parking is available at the venue. A brief shuttle bus ride from the venue parking lot to the ceremony and reception location will run throughout the evening. Please budget enough time for parking and waiting for the shuttle bus in order to arrive at the ceremony on time.
