this is us
ben and i met at AU in 2018. he was an RA in my housing community. i always noticed him at our events, at meetings, and around campus. we had several mutual friends and eventually made it a regular thing to go ghost hunting all over Anderson. ghost hunting with friends turned to late night drives then all night conversations. i quickly realized what i had found.
soulmate. twin flame. other half.
whether we were eating at chickfila, studying, or watching this is us, from that moment on we were inseparable.
one night, in late February, i was distrought and worried about that inevitable question "what should i do with my life?" we locked eyes, ben leaned over and kissed me for the first time. i may not have known what i wanted my future to look like, but from that moment, i knew who i wanted next to me.
on 03/01/19, ben told me he loved me, and we simultaneously decided we were each other's person.
on 10/16/21 ben asked me to be his wife- and i have never been happier!
