Myles and Taylor met after being partnered up by our teacher in senior year language arts. He pretended that he didn't finish an assignment, and so Taylor agreed to help him out. She didn't think much of it, but one thing led to another and now they're inseparable.
Myles had recently had surgery on his shoulder, and so Taylor was determined to plan a nice night out on the town. They went to a little Italian place on the West side of town called Ciao (it's since been closed) and then went to Botanica for their light display. It was so cold that night, but the company was very warm.
Myles told Taylor to make sure her schedule was free on December 30 because he had made special plans for them - they were going to be taking pictures at Bradley Fair. By the lake there on the Southern red square, Myles told Taylor he loved her for the first time. It was there that they were standing when she looked up and saw Groomsmen Andrew Gritten playing their favorite song on his guitar. Myles got down on one knee and said "Taylor Mitchell, will you marry me". It's no secret that Taylor is really bad at doing what she calls "blacking out" during big moments like this. While she isn't entirely sure what specific language she used, Myles says it involved a few positive curse words and many, many tears. Bottom line, she said a very enthusiastic "YES". They then celebrated with wine and vodka tortellini at their NEW favorite restaurant in town, Bella Vita Bistro.
