Question

Travel Requirements?

Answer

A valid U.S. passport is required. Make sure that your passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from Italy. There is currently no visa needed for stays up to 90 days within a 180‑day period for tourism. ETIAS (Electronic Travel Info & Authorization System) will be required in the last quarter of 2026, not before. REAL ID is not required to travel internationally as you'll need a passport. That said, if any of your layovers are domestic, make sure that you have a REAL ID (marked with a star) or alternatives like a passport, Global Entry card, or passport card. Under Italian law, non-EU citizens must carry their passport or valid ID at all times - photo/phone copies aren’t acceptable.

Question

What’s the weather like that time of year?

Answer

October in Italy is usually mild and pleasant, with temperatures in the 60s–70s°F. We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater for the evenings!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Dress Code is black-tie optional. Tuxes encouraged but not required - suits are great too! For women, mid-length or floor-length dresses preferred. We want everyone to feel comfortable and wear what makes them feel their best! That said, if you're looking for some guidance, many family and friends are leaning into a “garden party” vibe - think florals, ruffles, silk, and soft pastel colors. Feel free to join in, but no pressure at all! The venue has gravel paths, so keep that in mind when selecting what shoes to wear. We can't wait to see you all dressed to the nines and ready to party!

Question

Will transportation be provided to the venue?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from our hotel block, The Hoxton. We've accounted for all of our guests to use the transportation to/from the venue regardless if you're staying at The Hoxton or not. Pick up at the hotel will be at 3:30 PM.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. Keep in mind, the outdoor area has a lot of gravel pathways so make sure to wear shoes that are comfortable on gravel. The reception will take place indoors.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have provided a hotel block at The Hoxton if you'd like to stay there. All hotel block information is listed on the "Travel" tab. We've also recommended a few other hotels that are walking distance to The Hoxton.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We certainly understand! You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly. We will be having a party in the states to celebrate with our friends and family who aren't able to make it to Italy on November 8th. We'd love for you to come to that!
