Glenda had just finished nursing school- and passed by 2 points, so a night out was absolutely necessary. Around that time, we matched on Hinge and started talking. We planned our first date in Philly... but Bri kept pushing the time back. Glenda was honestly this close to canceling and told herself if it got pushed one more time, she wasn't going. But it didn't- so she picked her up, and we went out anyway. The night was a mix of drinks, dancing, and a little chaos. Guys were being annoying, the music was loud, and Glenda got drunk way faster than expected. At one point, she literally rested her head on Bri's shoulder in the middle of the dance floor and stayed there for what felt like two hours trying to recover- and Bri didn't move the whole time. Somehow, from that slightly chaotic first night... everything just clicked. We've been inseparable ever since.
