How do I get to the venue?
Answer
Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom is located 20-minutes north of Trussville, AL. From Birmingham on I-59 North: Take Exit 148. Turn right onto Liles Lane and travel 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Hwy 11 North and travel 4.6 miles. Turn right onto Mountain View Road and travel 1.3 miles. West (Marietta Road) and travel 0.7. At 4-way stop, turn left onto Main Street and travel 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Newton Road and travel 0.3 miles. The entrance to Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom will be on your left. From Gadsden on I-59 South: Take Exit 154. Turn right onto Hwy 174 West (Marietta Road) and travel 0.7. At 4-way stop, turn left onto Main Street and travel 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Mountain View Road and travel 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Newton Road and travel 0.3 miles. The entrance to Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom will be on your left.

What is the timeline for the day?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 4:00 PM and should not last longer 30 minutes. The wedding party will take photos while the guests move to the reception area for cocktail hour. The reception will begin at approximately 5:30 PM and send out will be at 8 PM. We recognize and appreciate your efforts to travel to our wedding and we want everyone to get home at a reasonable time!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress preference is Garden Party or Resort Casual attire and pastels are encouraged. The ceremony will be outdoors, so dress accordingly.

Where are you registered?
Answer
Please do not feel obliged to get us a gift, your presence is enough! If you would like to give something, any contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated. For a more traditional option, we are also registered at Amazon and Target.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes! However, please be aware that there is an open pool area and it is not suitable for unsupervised younger ones. We will have simple family-friendly activities available at the reception to help provide entertainment for the kiddos!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is RSVP only so please note how many guests are attending on your RSVP card. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at reedvows@gmail.com

Where should I park?
Answer
As you turn into the driveway, you will see a designated area for parking in the grass on the right side of the driveway. Handicap parking is available on the paved driveway along the house and garage.

Can I leave my vehicle parked at the venue overnight?
Answer
No vehicles can be left overnight.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes. The property is fully accessible inside and out. There will be a designated handicap parking area on the driveway.
