We're Getting Married!

Like all great love stories, ours started… at work. At an addiction treatment center. Super romantic, right? Chris had already made his mark on the team, working passionately to help people take their first steps toward recovery. Callie joined the center not long after, bringing with her a quiet determination and a compassionate heart that fit right in. Our first few conversations were mostly work-related, like “Did you finish that admission?” or "Can you do this admission for me" . But over time, we started chatting more—about life, dogs and random TV shows We bonded over shared shifts, stressful days, and a mutual understanding that there is no such thing as a short staff meeting. Eventually, it turned into Ledo's pizza dates, Phillies Games, Starbucks coffee and something we didn’t see coming: a really amazing relationship. Before we knew it, we were not only building better lives for others—but dreaming of a future together, too. Work brought us together—and now we’re planning forever. And yes, we still talk about work way too much.

If you ask us what the best part of our 2024 Outer Banks vacation was, we'll both say the same thing. Chris had a plan. Callie… had no clue. We were on a family vacation in the Outer Banks—both of our families together, which already made it special (and a little chaotic in the best way). Somewhere between beach days, board games, and a lot of shopping, Chris decided it was the perfect moment to ask a life-changing question. The plan: a walk through the Elizabethan Gardens. The reality: everyone knew what was coming—except Callie. She thought it was just a fun stroll through the beautiful gardens with Chris’s cousin Amanda. Meanwhile, Chris was trying to keep the ring hidden, pose for pictures and find the perfect spot. Little did Callie know, Chris' mom already scoped out the perfect fountain As we turned the corner, Callie spotted the fountain and naturally wanted to take pictures. Amanda took all Callie’s belongings, took the best videos/pictures as Chris got down on one knee and Callie said yes! It was perfect, a vacation we will never forget. Beautiful, genuine, and totally us. And having both of our families there made it even more meaningful, one big, joyful moment we’ll never forget.
