Bryson and Callie met each other through mutual friends in the city of Houston, Texas. They shared their first date at Lupe Tortilla. By the end of the night (& their margaritas), they knew there was something special in store for the two of them. Over the next few months, the two became inseparable and their love only continued to grow for one another. The new couple would soon put their relationship to the test as Bryson got an opportunity to take a career advancement in the state of Louisiana. Despite the distance, the couple would spend the next year and a half traveling back and forth to see each other every weekend. The distance never stopped them! The weekends were spent taking on new adventures in Bryson’s new city, hanging out with friends and spending time with their families. What was next on the agenda for them? Bryson only had one thing on his mind....getting Callie to move to Louisiana. After lots of convincing and a job change later, she was on her way to join him in Lafayette. In May 2021, they packed up Callie’s one bedroom apartment and finally ended the long distance between them for good. Over the next year in Lafayette, they would soon fall in love with all things the Cajun city would bring. The story doesn’t end there! Next up on the couples agenda, was one Bryson had been planning for a few months all on his own. THE PROPOSAL. Despite not being able to keep a secret to anyone about his plan, he was able to pull off the surprise of Callie’s life by asking her to marry him at the beautiful Biltmore Estates in Asheville, North Carolina. Without a doubt, Callie said YES! Fast forward to now and the couple is beyond excited to take on this next chapter as The Burger’s!
