It’s finally happening!!

Nikko and I met when we were in 6th grade, but didn’t actually become friends until 8th grade! We became close friends in 8th grade thanks to band, and talked almost everyday! It was pretty obvious that we liked each other, and the feelings continued to grow! We would hangout in groups, mostly at the mall, and it was a great excuse to see each other. It wasn’t too long after we entered high school, one week to be exact, that he asked me to be his girlfriend inside of Dick’s Sporting Goods at the mall. Its funny to look back on that moment. Two scared teenagers in a sports store, not knowing what was in-store for them. We made it through high school, college, and even a pandemic (definitely did not see that one coming)! Over these 8 years, our love has grown and grown, and we, along with many others, knew that we were meant for each other. His proposal was absolutely beautiful and so thought out. He proposed at Balboa Island, which is where our first trip ever as a couple was, and of course it was a band trip! He wanted to propose in the same place that our relationship first took off into love 8 years ago, and that was so special. We cannot wait to celebrate our love and the start of our life with you all!
