Mike and I took a gen- ed course during college in the spring of 2013. He complimented my hat on the first day! Later on, we decided to try and work together on some of the homework from the class. We had great conversation and would get distracted ; so while working together wasn't a productive option, we still decided to talk and go for walks. Jurassic Park was being re-released in theaters in 3D. So he texted me, "hey do you want to see J-Park 3 dizzle?" and I said yes. After an excellent date and a few more walks, we agreed to make the relationship official, to nobody's surprise!

We are excited about getting married at St Anne Catholic Church in Barrington in the presence of our immediate family on Friday, September 6th. I guess this will be our legal wedding date. But, the celebration doesn’t end here! We are also planning a ceremony and celebration with our extended family and our friends on Saturday, September 7th. These festivities will be held at The Thornhill Education Center at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. We are hoping to spend much of this day outdoors, in a place that we both find uniquely special. We look forward to sharing it with you!

As the Arboretum is hosting their Dog Day this Saturday, we are anticipating long lines for the main entrance. However, we have been granted permission for guests to use the back entrance.
