Charleston Guide

We can't wait to welcome you to Charleston! Callie and Bobby met here during their freshman year at the College of Charleston and have called the city home ever since. After living downtown during their college years, they are now nestled near Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant. Below are a few of their favorites, but feel free to reach out for more specific suggestions!

Downtown Charleston

Downtown Charleston is very walkable— most restaurants, shops, and historic sights are just a short stroll from one another. Start your morning at Island Provisions, Holey City Bagels, Babas, Sorelle Mercato, Queen Street Grocery, or Welton's Tiny Bakeshop for a quick bite and to-go coffee. Settle in for a leisurely brunch at Millers All Day, Bodega, or Church and Union. If you're looking for lunch: Berkeleys, Poogan's Smokehouse, Island Cabana Bar, and 167 Raw Oyster Bar are a few of Callie and Bobby's regular spots. You don't want to miss a dinner in Charleston...we recommend making a reservation at Poogan's Porch, Le Farfalle, Pink Cactus, Sorelle, Marbled & Fin, Leon's, or Little Jack's Tavern. End the night with an espresso martini at Bar167 or stop into Citrus Club for views of the Charleston skyline!

Sullivan's Island & Isle of Palms

Explore Callie and Bobby's go-to beach! If you're looking for a coastal getaway just 15 minutes from downtown, we recommend booking an Airbnb on Isle of Palms for a quintessential beach vacation. Grab breakfast at Jeff's Bagel Run or stop in for frosé and sandwiches from Co-Op Deli & Market. You don't want to miss a dinner at Obstinate Daughter, Sullivan's Fish Camp, or Post House Inn. Come up to Callie and Bobby's neighborhood for waterside dining along Shem Creek at Nico, Tavern & Table, or Saltwater Cowboys. If you're looking for something casual, stop into Callie and Bobby's favorite spot: Santi's. IYKYK!

Folly Beach

Folly Beach is the best option for a relaxed, no-frills atmosphere. Just a 30 minute drive from the downtown festivities, Folly offers scenic views and a walkable main street. Stop into Roasted Coffee before a leisurely bite at Lowlife Bar. Looking for lunch before laying out on the beach? We love The Bounty Bar and Chico Feo. Dine at Rita's Seaside Grill or Taco Boy before dessert at the Pineapple Hut.

Shopping & Sightseeing

Charleston is home to some of the best sightseeing and shopping in the South. Callie and Bobby's wedding venue is settled in the heart of downtown's historic district, but we recommend strolling the French Quarter before the festivities begin. Visit Waterfront Park for views of the harbor or take a tour boat to Fort Sumter to see where the Civil War began. King Street is lined with countless stores— we recommend spending the day shopping your way down to The Battery.
