She's Gonna be a Nordgaard!

Kris and Calli have been together since 2015, and from the day they met, they knew they had found their best friend. Calli was still finishing her degree while Kris was working full time, however, that did not stop them from having the time of their lives. They spent countless weekends camping with friends, boating on the lake, making amazing projects with their woodworking and resin skills, or just having nights in with beer and pizza, their favorite kind of lazy night. A few years later, Kris and Calli decided to start their lives together by moving in to a beautiful house in Lancaster County. Shortly after, they made another big step and found their perfect furry companion, Emma Lou, their energetic, loving corgi. After getting their hair done in Scranton one weekend, Calli was told she looked so pretty she needed to be taken out for ice cream. (Because a Nordgaard loves showing off his woman!) While walking along the dam at Lake Wallenpaupack with Emma Lou, Kris handed Calli a Ring-Pop. Something he always threatened that he would propose with. Calli always went along with it saying it better be blue-raspberry. It was. Kris then got down on one knee and surprised Calli with a beautiful handmade ring. It was made from cocobolo wood that Grandpa Nordgaard had given him (to make some new gun grips with). This ring was a placeholder though. His father had a beautiful gold ring with a flawless princess cut diamond made custom for Kris's mother while she was pregnant with Kris. This was then promised to him so that he could one day give it to his future wife. Luckily, it fit perfectly!
