We're getting married!

Unlike most first dates where you try to hide your biggest flaws and highlight your most sellable features, Josh and I kicked things off with a game we called "red flags." We each took turns stating what we thought our own qualities that would normally turn someone away were. Needless to say, the evening was filled with laughter over Fuzzy's Tacos and it set the tone for our entire relationship. Since the beginning, we have been able to be 100% ourselves with each other, dirty laundry and all! Josh was a total sweetheart from the start and I had never had someone that could make me laugh that hard. It was an amazing start to our love story. <3

Calli and I's first date was definitely one of the most nervous/amazing moments of my life. Seeing her as I walked in blew me away as she was so beautiful but that also made me even more nervous. I remember having a mental battle between getting a margarita to calm my nerves, or not getting a margarita out of fear of looking like an alcoholic to her. I was a bumbling mess to say the least. Calli of course was kind and didn't notice any of that (or at least she says.) Our conversation never grew boring and it felt as if I was catching up with a friend who I hadn't seen in years. I can still remember the outfit she was wearing and the smile that drew me in. I continue to thank God for making me so lucky to have found her and not have messed up that first date!
