Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Catherine Higley

Maid of Honor

Alex gets the credit for Cat and I's relationship. I first met Cat in a grocery store parking lot during my first trip to Dallas to visit Alex. Shortly after when I moved to Dallas, Cat and I decided to go to happy hour just the two of us, and the rest is history. We have spent countless hours together on vacations, at concerts, or just hanging out with our significant others (she's dating Groomsman Danny.) Cat is responsible for throwing the best surprise engagement party for us and I can't wait to celebrate again on our wedding day!

Matthew Karic

Best Man

This is my big bro! You're probably looking at the picture and thinking, "Wow I can't believe Alex got the looks and the brains!" Just kidding Matt, we all know we share a bit of both. On my wedding day I knew I would need a best man who could take care of me if I needed it, who could handle problems if they came up, and who would be my rock. That's my brother and my best man.

Lynn Meeboer

Bridesmaid

Lynn and I met in college working at a hole in the wall Vietnamese spot where we were allowed to wear flip flops and tank tops in the kitchen. Lynn and I instantly became friends and were known as the dream team. Lynn convinced me sororities could actually be cool and I ended up joining hers - which is when we became sisters. Since then, I have gotten to watch Lynn marry her soulmate, Danny, and more recently celebrate the birth of their beautiful baby daughter, Nora!

Jordan Ollanik

Groomsman

Where do I begin with Jo. We went through High School together, which meant we were by each others sides for most of our "firsts". The first time we both got cars, and all the trouble that got us into. I don't think there's any other friend that I've gotten into so many fights with, but also any other friend that I would call before Jo if I got into trouble. He's one of the most loyal, easy-going, and trustworthy guys I know. Just don't tell him I said that - I gotta keep him in check!

Erica Miday

Bridesmaid

Erica and I hit it off when we met in 6th grade at a private school in Cincinnati (let's just say we didn't fit in there.) We fought over boys, played Nancy Drew video games, and awkwardly grew older together. Those memories built an unbreakable bond for Erica and me. Even with thousands of miles between us, we always end up finding a way to be together and take our trademark photo as seen here.

Jake Morris

Groomsman

You probably can't tell from the picture, but Jake and I are pretty close. That's what you get for being lifelong friends, no such thing as personal space. Our parent's are best friends and we basically grew up with each other, his family even owns a house a few blocks down the beach in Rocky Point next to mine. Our thing when we were younger was baking cakes, I have no idea why. Don't worry we won't be baking anything for the wedding.

Brigit Gordon

Bridesmaid

We met in 7th grade (our very awkward first year of high school) and by 9th grade, Brigit was one of my best friends. We camped together in the pouring rain, traveled to Panama City, and I recently had the honor of watching Brigit marry Cameron. Brigit and I have had our fair share of fights, tears, and laughs and that is why I am so grateful to call her my bridesmaid!

Danny Orendain

Groomsman

Danny and I went to the same college and even majored in the same area, but it wasn't until we both accepted a position at Texas Instruments that we really became close. Danny was the first and only friend I had in Dallas when I first moved here. We were single college grads with good jobs in a new city. We didn't have many friends those first years but we had a good time using Danny's Uptown apartment as home-base for the weekend's shenanigans. That changed pretty quick when Alex met Liza and Danny met Cat, but our friendship is still going strong. You might recognize this picture, it's not a mistake, Danny is dating Liza's Maid of Honor Cat.

Amy Kreutzer

Bridesmaid

Amy and I met in our dietetic program in college and instantly bonded over our shared idea to backpack Southeast Asia. And guess what? We actually did it! Amy and I became extremely close after this two-month adventure of a lifetime. I will never forget the hostels, meals, and friends we made. I will also never forget when Amy ate a scorpion and enjoyed it.

Leon Ley

Bridesman

Leon and I have a very special relationship that started with our faces appearing on a sandwich menu (ask us the story!) Our stomping ground was Austin, where we would run races together, worked several jobs together, and danced the night away on a weekly basis. We even traveled to Colombia and got to play paintball at Pablo Escobar's home. Leon was always by my side during my 3 years in Austin and I am so grateful he will be joining me on Alex and I's big day.
