We recommend and encourage all guests to rsvp about a month advance before the week of the wedding date so we have plenty of time to make proper accomadations and changes. Please RSVP by March 21st.
The Wedding will start promptly at 4:00 pm. In order to be respectful of the Church and the ceremony, we ask that guests please arrive 15 minutes to 30 minutes prior to the ceremony starting time so that everyone can be seated and settled before the processions at the start of Holy Mass.
Our wedding will be a formal event, and we are asking guests to wear formal attire, as able (coat and tie for men, equivalent for women). Additionally, our wedding ceremony is taking place within the sacred space of a Cathedral Church, during a Catholic Mass, in which we believe Christ is truly and substantially present. We are respectfully asking that all guests dress modestly.
Yes! Children are more than welcome to come. We just ask that they be included in the RSVP count.
The Catholic Church believes that Jesus Christ’s Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity are really, truly, physically and substantially present in the Holy Eucharist (the Communion Bread and Wine). Only baptized Catholics, in a state of grace, may receive Holy Communion. Our protestant brothers and sisters and all other guests are welcome to approach the altar to receive a blessing. To do this, simply approach during the time for communion, and cross your arms over your chest, and the priest or deacon will bless you.
There is plenty of parking in the church parking lot. The parking lot can be accessed off 11th Street. There is a large parking lot in front of the Pelazzio Reception venue as well.
The reception begins at 6pm, immediately following the conclusion of the Wedding Ceremony.
The Pelazzio Reception Venue is located 17 miles and 28 minutes apart from the church. However, driving and arrival time depends heavily on traffic.
