We're getting married!

What better place to start our love story than in a library? We first met at San Francisco State in 2012. All it took was a physiology study group and a mutual classmate that gave us the opportunity to meet. It may have been an awkward introduction with Allison calling John by the wrong name......but nonetheless we met and little did we know that was the beginning of something great. Seven years worth of memories later, we have conquered undergraduate together, accomplished Physical Therapy school separately, lived together on the west coast, lived together on the east coast, long distance for two years, and somewhere in between a one year hiatus that has made our love story even more complete. As a couple, we have spent hours in the car road tripping to the most beautiful places. We have done our fair share of holding down the dance floor at other people's weddings. We have supported each other, loved one another, and laughed together through life's big and small moments. We are so excited to write the next chapter of our love story and for you all to be a part of it.

We got engaged at Bear Mountain State Park, NY on a crisp, sunny day in March with views of unmelted snow. Allison's parents were in town for the weekend and got to witness the special moment. (Pretty sure John blacked out and didn't actually ask the question and without missing a beat Allison said "Yes" a million times). The following day was just as perfect, doing what the couple loves best. It was a well spent rainy day inside playing hours of Dominoes, Scrabble, and watching movies while ordering in NY pizza.
