It’s been said that when two hearts are intended to meet, their paths will continue to weave in and out towards one another, until the time is right for them to finally come together. If they happen to weave a little too close too soon, they may weave out again, so both are sure to hit all the mile markers of living and learning that will best prepare them when the time comes to merge. When they meet, even if the time isn’t “right”, there will be an instant recognition, a familiarity, a comfort, unlike everyone else they have known. And when the time IS right, that same energy may make it feel impossible to be apart. They just GET each other, truly see each other. They often bring an opposition that balances, that challenges each to be the best version they can be, yet their core values come from the same source, like two parts of a whole. That’s our story, or at least the plot line :) These are some of the details… Friends and teammates for years, we always felt like there was SOMETHING about one another, but factors of time, space, relationships… well, LIFE, meant that being together was a thing that never crossed our minds. The beauty in that is over the years we’ve gotten to experience and know each other in a real and unfiltered way. No expectations, no best face, no trying to impress, all the highs and lows. We’d always known that we enjoyed when the other person was around, and always worked really well together. Others recognized the “chemistry” long before we admitted it to ourselves ;)– but never in a million years would we have thought things would have played out the way they have – but now that we have realized it, it’s impossible to imagine that we weren’t meant to be partners in a lot more than just teaching fitness classes! It still catches us in our tracks, that it is US. Questions and uncertainties from the past feel like they make so much sense now because they led us to one another and the future has a shape, and looks brighter than ever.
