For our U.S. guests, we know a trip across the Atlantic is a big deal. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to celebrate with us, so if you have questions please let us know. We’ve made this trip many times and are happy to share tips/tricks/travel stories.

Flight

Seville, Spain (SVQ) - OR - Faro, Portugal (FAO)

Seville and Faro are one hour from Huelva. You can reach Huelva via car or bus from both. Once you know your flight, we can help navigate transportation to Huelva. Other options: Madrid, Spain or Lisbon, Portugal. Both have large international airports and flights may be more reasonably priced.

We will be staying here all wedding weekend. We chose this location because it’s on the beach, has great amenities, and is close to the wedding and reception venues. We would love to see you there! The online rates right now are well priced for summer in Spain, and we encourage you to book ASAP if you’d like to stay here. (Even if you aren’t quite sure of your plans, there are options to book now and cancel later with no charge).

If Barcelo Punta Umbría Mar is not your vibe, check out its sister hotel just across the “carretera” (street). All inclusive options, same ease of access to venues and the beach. Same booking options and advice! Book soon because beachside resorts fill up fast in Southern Spain.

Other Lodging Options

If the Barcelo hotels aren’t the right fit, Punta Umbría has several other hotels and AirBnb’s. And we recommend booking lodging in Punta Umbría because it is easy to get to and from the venues from Punta, makes for a great weekend on one of Spain’s beautiful Atlantic-side beaches, and we’ll be arranging transportation to and from Punta Umbria for the wedding festivities.
