FAQs

If you have any further questions, please contact Laura Baker (Mother of the Bride), at 423-300-9895.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love for everyone to RSVP by November 1st, as we have very limited space

Question

What happens if I don’t RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

Those that do not RSVP by November 1st will me marked as “not attending”. We need the final headcount to provide an accurate headcount to our vendors.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have limited seating. Plus ones are by invitation only, as we'd like to celebrate with the ones we love!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is not specific dress code, but if you’d like to follow our theme, it is a Christmas themed wedding. (Please do not wear any shade of white)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited parking, as it is a small church. Please carpool if possible.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Gifts are not expected. We are registered at Amazon. We have lived together for a while now, so we have most of what is needed. If you would like to participate in our honeymoon fund, we have added that as well

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

After the ceremony, food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided at the fellowship hall of the church.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are not many hotels close by. If you are traveling for the wedding, we can help you make arrangements.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will be having an “unplugged ceremony”. We ask that all guests turn phones off for the duration of the ceremony, as we have paid a wonderful photographer to capture our day. We are happy to share the photos later.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We’re choosing a church we love dearly, and hosting a family-friendly wedding, so there will be no alcohol served.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and include the names of the children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use it as a "night out" for yourself!
