We have sailing to thank for bringing us together! Max grew up sailing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and decided to move to Philadelphia, where his mom grew up, for college at Villanova University. Go Cats! Elizabeth was on the rowing team in high school and decided to try something different when she started college at Drexel University by joining the sailing team freshman year as a complete novice. Both sports are on the water but very different! We first met during our sophomore year of college in September 2017 at a party thrown between the Drexel and Villanova Sailing Teams. From there, we kept meeting at different sailing events and have been together since. Below is one of the first photos of us after we started dating in November of 2017.
