What should I wear?

Answer

We're hoping you'd love the rare reason to dress formally like we do, but we want you to feel comfortable too, so while formal attire is preferred, if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do, but we want our wedding night to be your night off! Feel free to bring them to the ceremony, but plan to party the night away at reception!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Please let us know if you feel we made a mistake!

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We are currently arranging shuttles to get guests from the hotel, to the reception, and back again at the end of the night. Please check out the "Travel" page for more information when it's available. There will not be transportation to the ceremony so please plan to drive there. The church is less than three miles from the hotel and will take around 10 minutes.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Take a look at the "Things to Do" page and see if there is anything you'd like to check out! We definitely suggest heading to Peoria Heights. You can take a walk through the small village and pop into a few shops and grab some lunch. There's nothing wrong with heading back to your hotel for a nap either... It's going to be a late night!

Should I bring a gift?

We will consider ourselves blessed with your presence alone, but if you would like to give us a gift, please click Registry at the top of this page.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 1st. It’s important to book your hotel room by that date as well! Please visit the Accommodations page for info!

Where do I select my meal choice?

Answer

Please head to the RSVP page and you'll be able to make your selection there. Late night snacks to follow toward the end of the night!

Will there be a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

We will have a rehearsal dinner for the bridal party and immediate family. Please join us at the hotel bar for drinks afterward! We recommend stopping by around 8 or 9 PM.
