For anyone who knows us, you’d know we are both two very outspoken and opinionated people. So when we met while working at Buffalo Wild Wings in 2017, we were actually not the biggest fans of each other. Which turned into us purposely annoying each other. We developed a friendship and long behold, we actually did like each other! Over the past 5.5 years we have built such an amazing life together. We now have 3 cats together who truly are our entire world. We live in Moorhead in a beautiful apartment which is both of our favorite place on earth. We both love to travel, with our favorite place we’ve traveled being Folly Beach, SC. We can’t wait to go back. On a trip we took in 2021, we were driving from Arizona back to North Dakota and we stopped at The Grand Canyon. While on a hike, Darcee told me to turn around, put my hands in the air and face The Grand Canyon so she could take a photo of me. After what felt like an entire 60 seconds, I yelled “did you take it yet?!” and turned around to her on one knee. Darcees favorite part to tell is that the first thing I said was “no?!”… but as in a shocked, “get outta here” way, but of course I said yes 🫶🏼 With us being only months away from saying “I do”, we continue to learn something new about each other everyday. We can’t wait to continue onto the next milestone in our life after the wedding, which will be becoming homeowners. The greatest part of meeting your better half is watching your family love them, almost, as much as you do. Both of us have gained such a large and great family from each other. We both feel completely blessed to have each others families see each of us as their own. I, Caley, might even say there are some days two of my little brothers love her more than they love me! Every time I walk in the door alone or answer FaceTime alone, I get asked “where’s Darcee?” even before I get greeted. Which, even when I hate it.. I really do love and cherish seeing that bond they have. I, Caley was given such a warm welcome to the HUGE Erdmann family. Every time I go to their lake place I feel at home and I couldn’t be more grateful. It has turned into one of my favorite places on earth and I cherish it and the multi-cabin family that we have there. As they say, life is a crazy ride.. and that couldn’t be more true. We are so excited to get married and even more excited to spend it with everyone we love.
