Caleigh had just moved back to Boston in late October of 2022, and spontaneously decided to throw a Halloween party the day after she moved back (classic Caleigh). She opened the invite to friends of friends, and in walked Robert - dressed as Cliff Booth from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Now Caleigh, dressed as Hange from Attack on Titan (an anime character, again classic Caleigh) went up and greeted the stranger and welcomed him to her new home, and immediately noticed his beautiful blue eyes. Robert recognized her costume, poked fun at her love for anime, and the two ended up playing video games until late in the night with a few other friends. Robert and Caleigh talked for hours and laughed about common interests, and once Caleigh mentioned her love for a specific podcast, Robert looked at her and said jokingly, "I think I'm in love with you". Who knew that just a few months later, they would develop their friendship, fall in love, and make the decision to be together for the rest of their lives. <3
