FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. This means wearing something more elevated than semi-formal attire but less dressy than formal attire. In other words, a suit and tie or well-tailored blazer and dress pants are preferable for men, while jumpsuits and mini, knee-length and midi cocktail dresses are great options for women. No distressed jeans or jeans with holes, no flip-flops.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This will be a kid friendly wedding; however, unless they are family, the child's age must be 14+ and you must notify the couple you will be bringing a child with you.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

All recommendations are listed under the travel section. If these don't work for you, please contact the couple to help discuss other options. There are plenty of Airbnb and VRBO options in the area as well!!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

YES! Please let the couple know of any food allergies and we will make sure to contact the caterer as plan out a food menu to make sure you are accommodated appropriately.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All RSVP's will be due no later than 30 days prior (October 12th) to the day of the wedding, this way we can finalize seating charts and confirm final head count with our caterer.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Charlotte tends to be in the mid 60's for the first half of November. The ceremony is outside and the reception will be indoors. We would recommend bringing a light jacket or cardigan as temperatures do drop in the evening and at night.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation; however, you can Uber and Lyft from the venue!

Question

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including attractions, shops, and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.

Question

I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Answer

The best way to reach us is by directly contacting the bride or groom via phone call or text.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for money that will be used towards a new home, honeymoon, and various household items. We also set up a way to help us pay our vendors if you are wanting to contribute! Items on our wedding registry can be found on this website under the registry tab. Thank you!!
