On Saturday morning (the coldest day of the whole year) we headed to Georgetown for what I thought was a day of celebrating Caleb's birthday. We had a nice breakfast at one of my favorite restaurants, Farmers Fishers Bakers then went to Grace St coffee to grab a fresh cup of joe before heading to my favorite little footbridge. While in the coffee shop Caleb said he "forgot something in the car" and that he was going to grab it. I waited for our drinks and when Caleb came back we headed over to the footbridge. It was windy to say the least and we were freezing so I suggested we skip the bridge but Caleb insisted. Once we got on top of the bridge we chatted then Caleb reached in his pocket and said he had something he wanted to give me. I thought "oh my goodness it's happening" then he pulled out a card, I internally told myself to fix my face LOL and opened the card. He had glued photo strips of us from our time dating and wrote a note, at this point I'm crying and blacking out from pure excitement, he gets down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I replied "this isn't real" to which he says "soooo?" and I yelled "OF COURSE!!!" and the rest was history. I couldn't be more excited to spend the rest of my days with the best man I know. -Lilly
