Worrell in this Together...

How they met

Victoria and Caleb first met at Starbucks. She was a customer and Caleb was the barista who made her coffee each morning. Though there was a rocky start (do to Caleb's poor customer service skills) they began to recognize each other and were ultimately introduced by their pastor, Jonathan. Through serving at church and the ongoing Starbucks affair Victoria and Caleb got to know each other more and more until She finally decided she needed to make a move. So after promptly "losing" her keys in a tornado (VERY literal)...she called on her church family, and Caleb readily abliged a hand and a ride home. The stage was set. Caleb decided to make a move, and ask her out on a date. A late lunch and a walk to the top of the ever romantic parking garage for a view of downtown Fredericksburg would prove to be enough to guarantee a second date. Through times of great joy and fun as well as tough days they continued to grow together. Fast forward 15 months to a man enjoying a warm May morning atop Chatham Heights, waiting on a woman to join him for coffee...and to ask her a question. Victoria had a strong feeling that he was going to propose that morning, until she saw him holding coffee. For some reason that threw her off, but then he led her to a bench, washed her feet while explaining how Christ was an example for how the groom should love and serve the bride, then took her to the main overlook of the river, and got down on one knee. Caleb: There is so much that we had to leave out of this story for the sake of space. Never to be forgotten is the work God has done in us over this last year. No one could inspire the faithfulness and love Victoria shows me each day other than Christ. Victoria: I love stories, especially when you can see the intricate ways in which God was at work, and that is why I am so grateful for the way God brought us together. God has blessed me so much through this loving, selfless, and kind man.
