We met at our dear friends, Avery and Josie Bilensky's wedding on June 11, 2022. Sianna was a bridesmaid and Caleb was the best man. Although we had met a few times over the years as friends in Avery's life, this weekend was the start of it all. We left that wedding weekend and went our separate ways, both feeling a bit of sadness to be leaving each other, not knowing what was to come. After a week or two of constant phone calls and texting back and forth, Caleb called Sianna and surprised her by coming out to Austin for the weekend to visit. After that first trip, we both felt we had found something special in each other. We proceeded to date from California and Texas, mostly Caleb visiting Austin, but also some fun road trips and Bay Area stays as well. In November, Caleb moved to Austin! Since we were both fairly new to the city, we had a blast making new friends, building our relationship, and living a truly incredible life. On August 25, 2024, Caleb proposed. What started as our daily walk-and-talk time that we had grown to truly enjoy (even in the Texas heat) ended as a sweet intimate moment between just the two of us where Caleb got down on one knee and asked Sianna to marry him. After an incredibly excited "YES!" and a ton of happy tears, Sianna went home to find Rick and Marcie waiting to congratulate her. The surprises kept coming with an engagement party Caleb had planned at our favorite bar, the Mean Eyed Cat, with all of our friends to celebrate. The day was truly everything we wanted it to be. It was the best day ever (until now).
