Question

What to wear for our wedding?

Answer

As you can expect, the wedding party attire will be formal. Although, we do desire our guests to wear whatever they feel comfortable wearing. We are just looking forward to celebrating our big day with everyone who comes!

What type of foods will be served?

Answer

We will be having a buffet style with Whitt's BBQ catering pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and baked beans. The beverages that will be served include sweet tea and water. We will be providing cultural salads, chips, baked potatoes, coleslaw, and an assortment of different deserts. Please let us know for any dietary restrictions you may have so that we can be aware of them and plan as needed. As some of you may know, the bride is gluten free; therefore, there will be gluten free options for the meal.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be at Willow Place Conference Hall, 225 N Willow Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501. If you need help with directions, please don't hesitate to reach out to either of us.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be greatly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. If you have access to the internet, we are going to have a live stream available for those that can't attend. Please let either of us know if you want this information.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive between a half hour to an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time, gets seated with an usher, and we can get the big day started as scheduled!

What is the parking availability at each location? Is parking free?

Answer

The location of the event has plenty of parking available. Yes, the parking is free.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, we would love to share our special day with the children attending with their family. We do ask that any children that are attending could be respectful during the ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, all plus ones are welcome to join us to make our special day even better.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

We request that all RSVPs will be received by July 1st. This gives us a month to make preparations accordingly. If you do need more time to decide, please let us know in advance. The options to RSVP is as follows: text, email, call, mail, or on this website. All of this information is provided on the invitation. If you have any problems with you RSVP, please reach out to us for help.

Where are you registered?

Answer

You can find our registry on our website. We are registered to Amazon and Walmart. For those that would like to donate money instead, we have provided a cash fund as well. There will also be a honeymoon fund option at the reception. Thank you in advance for any gifts or money you have generously blessed us with.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We do ask that the ceremony is unplugged and no pictures are taken. We have a photographer that will capture all of the wonderful moments of our special day. Although, feel free take pictures and post them at the reception if you wish to do so.
