We met up for a coffee before I had to catch a flight for my work trip. I grilled Caleb with the heavy hitter questions, wasting no time in the small talk. After the date ended, I truly didn’t expect to see him again. But Caleb loved the straightforward and no BS approach, so he asked me out for a second date, which was nothing short of a disaster, but still, there was a spark. Caleb called me on a Friday night & we spoke for hours and before we knew it, this became our routine. He’d call me every night, which kept us in sync while I traveled all over. I told him during a 4th of July party that he was the only person I wanted to date. I then finger gunned and danced away from him, leaving him bewildered. It wasn’t till we made pickles in his kitchen that he *finally* made a move & kissed me. I felt a literal shockwave through my bones. Then, he asked me to be his girlfriend on a warm August evening. It wasn’t until February that I told him I loved him, in the parking lot of our gym. I ran out of the car & he swiftly followed me & admitted he felt the same. We took our first trip to the UP together where I really, truly realized that Caleb was my forever. And then shortly after, on our first couples trip with some of our closest friends, he proposed & the rest is still being written.

R: I’ll be honest, I knew pretty quick that Caleb was it. It wasn’t this overwhelming feeling but more so, a very calm & steady feeling of “this feels like home” Caleb just loves me so well and so freely. He truly is my best one and the idea of forever just doesn’t feel long enough. C: The love I have for Rachele has grown more with everyday I am with her. There has been that steady feeling of comfort, trust, and belonging that has become the forefront of how I know Rachele, but some of the smaller little moments I knew I was falling in love with her were early in the relationship when she had told me what she did when she traveled, how I saw her treat her friends, and how she pays attention to me even when I’m not speaking. I feel safe and at home with Rachele, the love I have for her is unlike anything I’ve experienced and I wouldn’t give it up for any riches of the world.
