Caleb and Nikki officially met in kindergarten, if not sooner because both of their sisters played soccer together before that time. Caleb and Nikki went to the same schools until college. They have many of the same school memories and experiences, just not together. Finally in their senior year of high school they became friends in their business and math class. Caleb even made it a habit to copy off of Nikki's math homework when he would 'forget' to do his. That same year they both went on the senior ski trip and hung out with a group of friends and even joked to take another ski trip in a few years. Fast forward to fall of 2017, Caleb and Nikki had lost touch since high school but were invited to go out to a mutual friends 21st birthday. After that night, them and a group of friends started to make a habit of hanging out every weekend. Overtime their friendship developed into best friends where they would hang out whether the rest of the group could or not. They both had the worst sleep schedules at this time and would stay up and talk and joke for hours. Eventually, Caleb grew to like Nikki but she was unsure about her future plans to want to move to the west coast. Nikki eventually grew to have mutual feelings while Caleb patiently waited to be taken out of the friend-zone. On October 28th, Nikki asked Caleb if he wanted to finally start dating. And that was the start of it all. That winter they finally went on the ski trip together they had joked about years earlier and have gone multiple times a year since. They have traveled to many places since they started dating and got engaged on Mount Haleakala in Hawaii.
