We’re getting married!

We met at our Riverside home! He was having an after party, after celebrating the New Year at Barleycorn’s. I was a spectator, dancing, and hanging out with friends. Caleb was playing bass for The Travel Guide. You’d think I would have paid more attention, but he grabbed my attention when I walked into his house. There was jazz playing and I proceeded to talk his ear off about different artists and albums. And thats where our story began.

Caleb got home from a long stretch of gigs for Sturgis and we were both excited to see each other after a weeks time. We did our usual dance party for two in the living room and then he popped the question in the exact spot that we met! He planned for Alaska, but said he couldn’t wait any longer. Getting engaged in Alaska would be cool, but the thought and sentiment of where we met was much more special.
