Caleb and I met at my cousins', Sarah and Jordan, wedding in August of 2020. Many of the guests at the wedding I knew, but someone caught, at first, my sister's eye and then mine (haha). After Caleb and I were introduced, we couldn't stop talking. Caleb became known as the guy in the blue sunglasses to my family and my friends, and he always remembered me as the girl in the blue dress. Caleb and I exchanged numbers and would send novel text messages over the next few months as our long-distance relationship began. It wasn't until Halloween I got the courage to fly to Maryland to see Caleb again. After my first trip to Maryland, Caleb and I knew there was something special. Over the last 3.5 years, Caleb and I have booked many flights back and forth and made countless memories. On November 12, Caleb and I were packing to leave Folly Beach after a weekend celebrating my Uncle Johnny's 80th birthday, but before we left Caleb asked me to go on one last beach walk. And on that cold, rainy morning Caleb asked me to marry him. To my surprise, I grabbed the ring and put it on myself, later we discovered I forgot to say yes! (Haha) Folly Beach has become a special place to both Caleb and I, and we cannot think of a better place to get married and celebrate with our closest friends and family!
