Walking along La Quinta Avenida provides an opportunity to explore the streets, enjoy the local cuisine, shop for souvenirs, and experience the cultural offerings of Playa del Carmen! It is less than 20 minutes from the hotel. You can arrange a private ride through the hotel, or take a taxi/uber.
This town, found on the Yucatán Peninsula, is not only home to great beaches, but has lush jungles, Mayan ruins, cenotes (caves or sinkholes filled with crystal-clear waters), gorgeous lagoons and upscale nightlife. Tulum is about an hour drive from the resort, but is definitely a great spot to visit if you're looking to prolong your trip.

Offers deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, and ATV excursions. Cozumel is a cheap 45 minute ferry (each way) from Playa Del Carmen. We definitely recommend exploring if you're looking to prolong the trip!
Cancun is known for white sand beaches, nightlife, water sports, Mayan ruins, nature, and some of the best all inclusive resorts in the world! Cancun is about 30-40 minutes away. This is also a great spot to prolong your vacation. Isla Mujeres (beautiful island known for golf cart tours, authentic cuisine, and white sand beaches) is accessible via cheap ferry. Restaurant recommendations (snag a reservation ahead of time): -Funky Geisha (Asian Fusion, $$$) -Tora (Japanese Fusion, $$$) -Mamazzita (Mexican, $$$)
